Salami or Salutations

How many of you have a newsletter and subscriber list?

I'm going to keep this short and sweet.

I'd like to ask you how you address your subscribers.

Do you give them salami or a salutation

similar to those below or a possible variation!

Good afternoon...How are you?

Good Morning...Have a wonderful day.

Good Evening...See you tomorrow.

I'm not trying to be stupid or a smart arse either!

We address many different types of people.

And another major thing is....people are in what seems like a million different time zones.

So I'm asking you bottom line, 

1. What's your salutation like?
Do you say good morning, good afternoon, etc?
Or do you use something more generic?
How do you address the difference in time zone?

2. Do you address the person(s) by first name or 

include sir name/last name?

Maybe it's a no brainer to you but I'd like to hear how others

address the person(s) they are sending an email out to.

As technology develops and social media expands, folks 

slow down less, trust less and listen less.

I'm thinking it doesn't take a brain scientist to know

it takes being uniquely you and a unique approach to capture the attention of those in our audience.
